The homeowner took out a gun and shot the individual, someone they knew, while trying to break into their home on the 1000 block Howland Square around 10 p.m. on Sunday, Mar. 13, Baltimore County Police said.
The injury did not appear to be life-threatening. How the two knew each other and the circumstances around the incident were not immediately clear.
The investigation is ongoing.
